Après une série d'événements malheureux, la violoncelliste Mok Hae-won quitte son emploi à Séoul et retourne au village de Bookhyun, dans la province de Gangwon, où elle a brièvement vécu lorsqu'elle était au lycée. Elle y retrouve son ancien camarade de classe et voisin, Im Eun-seob devenu libraire. Ensemble, ils guérissent de leurs blessures passées et finissent par tomber amoureux.

However, Bo Yeong shows up at the bookstore unannounced one night.

Although it is supposed to be a mixture of fiction and non-fiction, the story seems a bit too truthful and personal.

She also lets Hae Won know that Myeong Yeo will be leaving soon. Hae Won contemplates whether or not to go back to Bukhyeon-ri.
