Relooké et équipé à la dernière mode, le Scooby Gang renoue avec la première série Scoudidou, où es-tu ?. Fidèle aux recettes qui ont fait de Scooby-Doo le plus gros succès d’Hanna Barbera, cette neuvième série dorénavant produite par Warner Bros est la première de l’ère moderne de Scooby-Doo. On retrouve la structure narrative originelle : un lieu où se déroulent des évènements étranges, un monstre, des indices, des suspects, le tout emballé entre rires et frissons. Les clins d’œil sont nombreux : le fait de patiner avant de s’enfuir, les crocs-scooby dont raffolent Sammy et Scooby, la revue des indices par Véra en fin d'épisode, bref tout y est ! Le design fait un bond en avant mais la grosse évolution concerne l’environnement technologique. Les téléphones portables font partis de l’équipement et Véra se balade avec l’ordinateur sous le bras.
