An elimination-style reality series featuring a diverse group of top gamers who embark on an intense and emotional journey, all hoping to win a prize package that includes $100,000 and the ultimate Samsung electronics package. As the 12 contestants share a loft in downtown Los Angeles, they will be tested in real-life challenges inspired by best-selling game titles, compete in the video games themselves, and ultimately must avoid elimination in head-to-head battles in an arena filled with hundreds of spectators. Ultimately, the player who is versatile and strategic enough to best their opponents in both the real-life and virtual gaming worlds will emerge as the WCG Ultimate Gamer.

Épisode 1 - Are You Ready to Rock?

A group of 12 gamers move in together inside of a loft before competing in Rock Band. 12 contestants on this reality competition are vying for the title of "Best All-Around Gamer." In the first competition contestants compete in Rock Band 2.
Épisode 2 - Kicking and Screaming

One of the challengers hits a turning point while playing Virtual Fighter 5. Things get physical as the gamers tackle Virtua Fighter 5. Real life challenge this week various rounds through a course where contestants need to break boards, and then cross a finish line in a set amount of time. Special guest judge is Hollywood fight coordinator, and Martial Arts Hall of Famer, Master Lew.
Épisode 3 - Shut Up and Drive

One of the gamers returns as the teams are challenged in Project Gotham Racing 4. Guest judge includes drift driver Chris Forsberg. As the competition is now cut to 10 gamers, competitors take on Project Gotham Racing 4. For this week's real life challenge, gamers team up in a driving competition where they need to make tight turns around barrels.
Épisode 4 - Move It or Lose It

The contestants are challenged in a dance off in a game of Dance Dance Revolution 2. Tension heats up in the house as the gamers compete in Dance Dance Revolution Universe 3. Thinking that they are getting away for the competition for a night, the housemates are sent to a club, where they are surprised to find out that they will be competing in a dance-off for this week's real life challenge.
Épisode 5 - Things Get Explosive

The 8 remaining players are put into a competition of Halo 3. Halo takes center stage this week as eight gamers remain. Broken up into teams for the real life challenge, the players do battle on the paintball field.
Épisode 6 - Sink Or Swim

Gamers compete in NBA Live '09, as the number of people in the house is cut to six after this week. Competitors participate in a dunk contest for this week's real life challenge. Special guest judges include former NBA stars Darryl Dawkins and Spud Webb, and WNBA star Lisa Leslie.
