Kang Eun Soo n’a jamais rêvé d’une vie extravagante, seulement de vivre heureuse avec son mari Park Do Jin et leur fille. Mais après l’annonce du cancer de Do Jin, Eun Soo peine à joindre les deux bouts avec son temps partiel de caissière en supermarché. Sa vie prend un tournant sombre et absurde lorsqu’elle tombe sur une quantité de drogue valant des millions de dollars, qu’elle décide de vendre au lieu d’en informer la police. Elle forme un duo improbable avec Lee Kyung, professeur d’art de sa fille, mais aussi dealeur dans le milieu de la nuit de Gangnam. Alors qu’ils connaissent le succès, les forces de l’ordre commencent à les remarquer, notamment le chef de la brigade des stupéfiants Jang Tae Gu, les menant à faire des choix dangereux pour un avenir des plus incertains.
