Na ‘Meiden die rijden’ volgt omroep PowNed dit voorjaar 16 vrouwen die hun mannetje staan op de bouwplaats. De bouwsector is van oudsher een mannenbolwerk met veel testosteron, maar er zijn ook vrouwen die zich geroepen voelen tot de bouwput. Ze hebben ieder hun eigen specialisatie maar ze hebben één ding gemeen, namelijk de liefde voor het vak.

Construction veteran Tanja has been working on the pile driver for 25 years and today she is going to build the foundation for a sewer in Amsterdam. Crane operator Jessica is going to lift a speed with her tower crane in the Rotterdam region. Plasterer in training Nadine goes to plastering school and sisters Angela and Jacqueline give a tour of the warehouse of their reinforcing steel braiding company.
