L'histoire se déroule à Meiro-chou, une ville réputée pour les arts divinatoires. Dans un fameux établissement de cartomancie se nommant Natsumeya, quatre jeunes filles souhaitant devenir diseuses de bonne aventure vont démarrer leur initiation en tant qu'apprenties. Chiya, qui a quitté la montagne pour commencer sa formation en ville, va ainsi faire la rencontre de Kon, Koume et Nono.
