The terminally ill people on ``Time of Death'' are supported by family, friends, health care professionals, and hospice workers. The stories told include those of a single mother with invasive breast cancer; a psychotherapist specializing in death and dying but who, herself, has pancreatic cancer; a veteran with a rare form of cancer; and a young woman who has metastatic melanoma.

Forced to move cross-country due to metastatic cancer, Laura and daughter Lisa turn it into a big road trip in an effort to have as much fun as possible with Laura's remaining time. Brad is resigned to death, but his loving wife Verda of 49 years is not ready and left speechless when his final wish is revealed.
