Il s'agit d'un projet réalisé à l'occasion des 60 ans du studio Toei Animation. Lorsqu'ils étaient enfants, Naoto Azuma et Takuma Fujii suivaient le même entrainement afin de devenir catcheurs professionnels. Malheureusement, un jour, leur dojo est détruit par une organisation criminelle liée au monde du catch. Les deux garçons jurent alors de détruire l'organisation mais, tandis que Naoto les affronte de front sous l'identité de "Tiger Mask", Takuma rejoint les criminels pour les détruire de l'intérieur.
