Pei Jia considers leaving the spotlight, but a fan letter stokes the fires in his heart. Su Yi and Pei Jia are given a compatibility questionnaire to complete by the director, which results in the tension between them rising. Investor Fang Runyi makes a surprise visit to see the lead actors, writer and director, and the production becomes unstable.

Su Yi becomes disappointed by Pei Jia’s coldness, and the rift between them widens. After wrapping, Pei Jia seemed indifferent but kept tabs on Su Yi, eventually showing up at the bar he worked at.
