Estimant que son roi les laisse mourir de faim, le peuple fomente une révolution en se regroupant autour d'un symbole du nom de Nina Viento : une jeune fille capable de contrôler les vents. Le jeune prince Kalel Albus assiste ainsi impuissant à la mort de ses parents et y réchappe quant à lui de justesse. Plusieurs années ont passé mais sa volonté de se venger de Nina reste gravée dans son cœur. C'est dans cette intention qu' il décide de rejoindre en tant que pilote en formation une immense expédition au bout du monde à laquelle participe cette dernière. Toutefois, les liens d'amitié qu'il va forger pendant le voyage vont le détourner petit à petit de son objectif.

Épisode 1 - Island of New Journeys

Although he was often mistreated, a glorious chance came about when the Amatsuvian bombarded del Moral's home in order to get rid of the future empress. It has been four months since Isla left, and they are nearing the Holy Spring. The trainees endure harsh infantry training under the hot sun, and decide to spend the night camping. The camp is very cheerful, but Claire is somehow gloomy, and trying to stay away from Kal-el.

Isla reaches the Holy Spring, said to be the center of the world. The students are awed at the sight. The town celebrates arriving at the Holy Spring, but the next day, the knights shoot down and capture a pilot of the "Sky Clan", and there are dark clouds on the horizon.
