Épisode 1 - Episode 1

Nearly five years after being found guilty of murdering three women, Alan Lane is back in the headlines as the court of appeal has dramatically overturned his conviction for the killings of Holly Jackson, Anna Knight and Rebecca Cheung. The case goes back to the Old Bailey with all three murders being re-tried. Controversial barrister Emma Watts QC represents Lane and she’s determined to clear his name. Meanwhile, John Mallory QC on the prosecution sees this as a grave setback for British justice and, of course, the families of the victims. The jury members each receive their summons, unaware that their lives are about to change forever.

Paul has told the jury what he knows and they struggle to reach a majority. As they deliberate, Lane and Watts wait anxiously for the verdict. Rashid gives Paul information that makes him question everything. Tasha has a lot of explaining to do once the jury deliver their verdict.
