Yu Die wants to get the trident from Wen Tian to give it to Wu Dao so he will be happy, but she gets tricked and kidnapped in the process by Hu Ji & Wei Liao. As a result of this, Wen Tian is ends up frozen and Yao Yao decides gives the pearls to the demons, so he isn't destroyed by them. Hu Ji also tries makes a deal with Mo Yin, but she's not pleased with what Mo Yin offered. So, she went to Xian Yue and told her all about how Mo Yin helped the Demon Lord 20 years ago.

Épisode 19 - Episode 19

Wu Dao decides to go to the Demon Lord's palace to get Yu Die back. And an intense battle begins which Wen Tian and Xian Yue join afterwards. In the meanwhile, Mo Yin decides it's in her best interest to help Xian Yue defeat Shi You Ming, so the truth is not known by everyone else. After the battle ends, Hu Ji strikes a truce with everyone, Xian Yue goes back to Nan Yue, Yao Yao wants to go back to her own time, and Wu Dao is still trying to find a way to save Yu Die's life.

Épisode 20 - Episode 20

Shi You Ming goes to Mo Yin for help and she agrees after he blackmails her. Meanwhile, Wu Dao is still trying to save Yu Die, so he goes to Xian Yue. She agrees to help him, but only if Wen Tian asks her to do it.

Épisode 21 - Episode 21

Xian Yue can't save Yu Die, but says if Wen Tian gets a scroll which is located in the Shu Kingdom's temple, she can be saved. Once Wen Tian and Yao Yao reach the temple, the advisor in charge, after recognizing who Wen Tian is, tells him all about his mother's past. Shi You Ming gains another holy pearl and takes Wei Liao's heart. While back in Nan Yue, Mo Yin decides to get rid of Xian Yue with Hu Ji's help.

Épisode 22 - Episode 22

Yun Die tells them the ingredients for the antidote and they go gather them, but she still dies after taking it because she omitted one of the ingredients, a dragon's gallbladder. Meanwhile, Shi You Ming removes the soul from the Celestial princess and takes over her body. And Xian Yue is arrested for killing a sacred unicorn, which brings conflicts between the King and his officials.

Épisode 23 - Episode 23

Everyone finds out about Mo Yin helping the demons. She flees Nan Yue and ends up going to Tian Shan to seek the princess' help, but realizes Shi You Ming has taken over body. There, they forge an alliance once he accepts the condition set by Mo Yin. After Xian Yue leaves the prison cell, she goes to Wu Dao and asks if he can give her some of his blood. When she leaves, after she admits she knows Shi You Ming's location, Wu Dao sends a message to Wen Tian.
