God of War won three awards, including for game of the year, while Red Dead Redemption 2 won the most overall awards with four. It was live streamed on over 40 platforms worldwide, with 26 million viewers in total. In addition to the awards, several new games were revealed during the event.

God of War Ragnarök leads the show with ten nominations, followed by Elden Ring and Horizon Forbidden West with seven, Stray with six, and A Plague Tale: Requiem with five, each of which is nominated for Game of the Year alongside Xenoblade Chronicles 3.
