Dong-seok vows his love to Suk-hee, despite the opposition from his father, Chairman Ma of the Dream Group. Actress Chae Hwa-young reveals she is pregnant with Dong-seok's child, but he denies any relationship with her. Suk-hee is also pregnant with Dong-seok's child, and Hwa-young is determined to make sure that Suk-hee never meets Chairman Ma.

Hwa-young loses the child in her womb and falls into panic. She devises a plan to steal Suk-hee's baby to take over Dream Group. Suk-hee is fired from the restaurant she works and is left with nowhere to go, but she soon finds a job that provides room and board. However, this turns out to be part of Hwa-young's scheme.

Meanwhile, Hong-ju is consumed by anger and insecurity, fueled by an inferiority complex toward Seo-rin, who constantly looks down on her.
