Épisode 1 - Episódio 1

From the top of a hillside, Canaan is seen by Lia (Bruna Pazinato), very old. A trapped ox tries to be rescued, at the bottom of the hill, by Jacob (Felipe Cardoso) and the twelve heirs. Diná (Julia Maggesi) is handed over to Lia and reminds her of her mother. When giving birth to Raquel (Graziela Schmitt), Adinah (Paula Jubé) has a complicated birth and has suffered many pains, several years previously. The girl Lia is distressed with the mother and loses her to the 8 years. Soon after, Laban (Theo Becker) appears and makes little of the death of Adinah. Laban is disillusioned to see that Lia holds a girl. Lia happens to be responsible for her sister, Raquel, and at the same time suffers from insensitive behavior and her father and her half-brothers, Eliabe (Felipe Cunha) and Hannanias (Saulo Meneghetti), seeing their childhood abbreviated. The maid Zilpa (Thais Muller) is bought by Laban and she and Lia become friends. Eliabe rapes Zilpa. To resist in the place, Lia and Zilpe form alliance. They are 17 years old. Raquel shows her bad personality by putting the guilt in the innocent Zilpa. Not conforming, Lia does everything to prove the innocence of Zilpa. Saul (Augusto Garcia), promised to Raquel, is used by her, recklessly. Rachel says that she satisfies herself by stirring up the men when Lia does her best to avoid this behavior. Following the instructions of the mother, only one God has to be idolized, says Lia doing everything to warn Rachel to see Laban worshiping false gods. In conversation with her sister, Raquel says that she deserves someone with more qualities than Saul, to whom she was promised. Rachel takes little notice of Zilpa when Lia leaves in defense of the slave. On the same day, Rachel sees a person and their trajectory is in the imminence of a transformation. Jacob is with Saul, whom Rachel was promised, and other shepherds when she appears in the well. Rachel's perfection fascinates Jacob. Jacob falls in love with Rachel and she reciprocates. Saul notes a change in Lia's behavior. Jacob tries to cheer Rachel, who suffers from not having children yet. Lia rages with Zilpa and says she does not have the love of Jacob yet. Raquel asks her husband to impregnate the servant Bila so she can give him children instead. Lia is indignant. Jacob lies down with Billy. Jacob remembers when he deceived his father Isaac by saying that he was Esau. Jacob says he is tired of serving Laban and warns that he will leave Haran with his family. Saul advises Jacob to speak to Lia. Dinah takes care of the brothers. Lia counsels Jacob to follow the will of God. Dinah plays with brother Joseph. Lia asks Rachel to stop worshiping false gods. Jacob tells Laban that he wants to leave. Joseph and Dinah play innocent. Laban asks Rachel to convince Jacob to change his mind. Raquel relieved Bila's help. Joseph complains about the brothers' implied. Jacob remembers the past. Lia prays to God. Jacob looks for Laban and makes a proposal to stay in Haran. The years pass and Jacob then thrives. Determined, he warns his wives and children that they will go to Canaan.

Jacob has a clash with God and receives the name of Israel. Jacob says he passed his twin brother and deceived his own father in the past. Joseph finds Esau again and realizes that he has been forgiven. Rachel is strange about her husband's behavior. Jacob treats Lia with affection. Lia e Jacó choram ao descobrir que Diná foi violentada. Jacó encontra o ídolo que Raquel roubou do pai Labão. Raquel pede perdão a Lia antes de morrer. Lia lembra sofrimento de Jacó ao ser enganado sobre a morte de José. Rodeada de sua família, Lia se despede da vida. Fim.
