La vie peut changer en un instant. Woo Seo Ri (Shin Hye Sun) est un prodige du violon de 17 ans qui s'apprête à partir étudier en Allemagne. Mais un grave accident de la route la laisse dans le coma. Gong Woo Jin (Yang Se Jong), le responsable de l'accident, est traumatisé par ce qu'il a fait et rongé par la culpabilité. Treize ans plus tard, il travaille comme scénographe mais est émotionnellement coupé des gens qui l'entourent. Quand, treize ans plus tard, Seo Ri se réveille contre toute attente, elle a alors le corps d'une femme de 30 ans mais l'esprit d'une adolescente de 17. Woo Jin pourra-t-il l'aider à se faire à son nouveau monde et à apprendre à vivre et à aimer de nouveau? « Thirty But Seventeen » est une série dramatique sud-coréenne de 2018 réalisée par Jo Soo Won.

Coup de foudre. Voilà ce qu'il se passe lorsque Jin voit Seo Ri pour la première fois. Il a finalement une occasion de parler avec elle, mais il se dégonfle. Finalement, un malentendu change sa vie entière. Seo Ri est une prodige du violon de 17 ans qui va partir en Allemagne. C'est ainsi jusqu'à ce qu'arrive un accident grave et qu'elle finisse dans le coma.

He grabs her hand and begs her not to go. Seo Ri est vexée et l'accuse d'être incapable de retrouver son oncle.

Pendant ce temps, Chan en manque de son oncle essaye de le persuader de revenir à la maison.

Cependant, au contraire de Chan qui accepte et est heureux de ses sentiments envers elle, Woo Jin semble être anxieux de se retrouver en couple de nouveau. Un soir, il découvre Seo Ri regardant la lune, et cela lui rappelle le passé. Soudain, il panque et les souvenirs du lointain passé reviennent.

Woo Jin apprends qu'il va travailler avec Seo Ri, mais contrairement à elle qui est extasiée, il ne semble pas très heureux. Il dit à Hee Su qu'il peut travailler avec n'importe qui sauf elle.
