Tired of the creative crisis that has been blocking him for months and putting the production of his TV series at risk, Maccio Capatonda decides to entrust himself to the care of the eccentric doctor Braggadocio who subjects him to a first test: living a week in a hospice, pretending to be terminally ill. The meeting with a patient of the facility will give the comedian a new key to understanding his situation.

Having passed the test, Braggadocio entrusts Maccio with the first test of therapy: letting someone else make decisions for him. Valerio, the nurse he met at the hospice, finds himself in a position of great responsibility, risking compromising the comedian's image and career.

While dealing with the consequences of his prime time gesture, Maccio must face a new Braggadocio test: betraying his girlfriend. With Valerio's help, he searches for the least painful way to complete the task, but ends up calling into question his entire relationship with Myriam, who seemed to have found a new balance.

Maccio soon discovers that losing control can not only be complicated, but even disastrous.

After compromising his career and relationships, Maccio does not lose faith in Braggadocio's therapy that forces him to get rid of all his material possessions. Without a penny and a roof over his head, Maccio chooses to return home to his parents: a return to his origins that could further upset the comedian's life.

Although his life and career have now gone to pieces, Maccio decides to complete the therapy, accepting the last terrible test that could cure his creative crisis: killing someone. Approaching the peak of the discomfort zone opens a new scenario on the true identity of Braggadocio, definitively overturning Maccio's path.
