Épisode 1 - Op vakantie!

Rutger takes a group of people on benefits on vacation to Toulouse. For many, this is their first trip in years. In return, they do odd jobs. The group gets to know each other during the long bus ride, and upon arrival, a dynamic is immediately established: Ed and Maurice connect over a joint, while Netty struggles with the mandatory chores. Her breakdown makes a deep impression. Personal stories also emerge, such as that of Tomek, who ended up in a wheelchair after an accident. During a joint walk and painting assignment, the participants' different approaches to boundaries, emotions, and the newfound peer pressure become clear.
Épisode 2 - Het wordt zwaar

The second day brings tensions between participants with mental and physical disabilities. Huub wants to discuss his depressive feelings, but Tomek, who has a spinal cord injury, and his wife Maria find this difficult to understand. While Huub nevertheless takes responsibility as day captain, Maurice shirks his duties. At a wine tasting, his behavior spirals out of control, and Roxanne becomes increasingly irritated with him. The differences between mental and physical limitations lead to misunderstandings, but also to heated discussions and growing tensions within the group.
Épisode 3 - De ontploffing

Tensions reach a fever pitch. Roxanne finally decides to confront Maurice about his lazy and disruptive behavior, which brings relief but also new friction. Sonja breaks down emotionally and finds support from Ed, while the breakfast table becomes the scene of a heated argument between Huub, Karin, and Maria. Team spirit wavers. Nevertheless, they try to get on with the day: during work and a scavenger hunt through Toulouse, Huub takes the lead. His fanaticism and sharp analyses impress some, but also cause irritation. The communal dinner offers an opportunity for apologies and reconciliation, though the undercurrent of anger remains palpable.
Épisode 4 - De escalatie
28 octobre 2025
The group seems to be slowly working together more, but minor irritations are mounting. Karin and Sonja are the day captains and manage breakfast, while Roxanne takes charge of cooking a three-course meal. Tensions run high at the market: Ed and Maurice disappear to buy a joint, Karin goes her own way, and Huub clashes with several group members. Then things really escalate: Maurice defiantly stands in front of Huub and yells at him to shut up. What started as a simple preparation ends in a heated argument, after which the group disbands and many sessions with the psychologist follow.
Épisode 5 - Veerkracht
4 novembre 2025
After the violent outbursts, the group tries to find peace again. Ed and Maurice are the day captains and provide a relaxing breakfast. Netty leads a yoga class that surprisingly helps many participants release tension. Gradually, people try to connect: Huub talks openly with Maria and Tomek, even helps him with a rehabilitation exercise and openly shares his feelings of depression. During the cooking session, the group manages to work together better, and a calm atmosphere develops at the table. For the first time, there seems to be a genuine growing understanding, although it remains unclear whether this will be strong enough to last.
Épisode 6 - Eind goed, al goed

We'll see everyone back in the Netherlands. A lot happened on vacation, both highs and lows. How does the group look back on this trip? Seeds were planted, and everyone learned something by stepping out of the daily grind and rolling up their sleeves. All benefit recipients made progress, whether small or large.
