Cette adaptation fidèle du manga nous propose treize nouvelles, petites histoires distrayantes, mais qui comme toujours chez cet auteur, dévoilent quelques tranches de vie de la société japonaise moderne... (qui est en phase de transition depuis quelques siècles déjà selon certains). Et comme toujours chez Takahashi Rumiko, c'est un état de faits voire une description ; reste au spectateur de faire sa critique.
