Suh Ha-eun ,était agé que de 7 ans quand il a perdu son père dans un "accident" de voiture. Ignorant tout de sa famille et séparé de son jumeau, Yoo Shin-hyuk, il a été recueilli par Suh Jae-soo, qui l'a élevé comme son propre enfant. Grandissant dans une famille modeste mais chaleureuse, Ha-Eun devient policier et c'est en enquêtant sur un prétendu suicide qu'il finit par découvrir l'existance de son jumeau. Allant contre les conseils de ses pairs, Ha-Eun s'implique de plus en plus dans son enquete et finit par se mettre en danger : il devient la cible d'un meurtrier bien décidé à le faire taire afin de ne pas faire ressurgir des affaires passeés. C'est dans ce contexte là qu'il renouent enfin les liens avec son jumeau qu'il n'avait pas vu depuis 20 ans mais leur retrouvailles est de courte durée : l'assassin a qui il avait réussi à échapper retrouver sa trace et tue son frêre en le prenant pour lui. Brisé, Ha-Eun décide alors d'endosser l'identité de son frêre afin de le venger et de découvrir le secret se cachant derriere la mort de son pere.
