They join in the hunt for a runaway driver who fled from police when they tried to pull him up for a breath test. He led police on a dangerous chase through the backstreets until he crashed his car into a dead-end street and fled, climbing over back fences and running through yards.

Senior Constable Brien has attended too many fatal accidents on this stretch of road and he doesn't want to see any more. He and partner Constable Wakefield are stunned when they clock a young P-plater driving thirty-five kilometers over his limit with three young passengers in the car.
