Renata is a beautiful young woman who is forbidden by her father from having relationships with men. But Renata is in love with Pablo and he gets her pregnant. The evil Fausto, who is in debt, tries to seduce Renata, but she rejects him. Fausto finds out that Renata is in love with Pablo and kills him. When Renata gives birth, her father forces her to give up the child. Fausto deceives Renata by telling her that if she marries him she will be able to get her son back and Renata accepts. Renata finds out that it was Fausto who killed Pablo and confronts him, but Fausto blinds her. Years pass and Abigail, Renata's daughter, becomes a beautiful woman. However, this causes Faust to become morbidly obsessed with her. Abigail loves Diego, Fausto's nephew, but living her love will not be easy.

Renata forgives Patricio for what he did because of Fausto. Macaria kills Fausto for betraying her. Abigail and Mateo finally get married and live happily ever after.
