Li Yan, a skilled martial arts practitioner, finds himself in a desperate situation due to a terminal illness with only a few months to live. In the midst of his despair, he encounters a man calling himself "Mao", who introduces him to a fruit of the "Yan Fu" tree in which he is transported. Li Yan is faced with the task of completing three missions set by a system, and must earn money through boxing fights to earn "Yan Fu" points to buy medicine that can cure his illness. As Li Yan delves deeper into Longyuan Citadel and learns more about his environment, he becomes embroiled in internal conflicts within the citadel and also realizes that there are other "Yan Fu" carriers competing in obscurity. After overcoming numerous obstacles, Li Yan finally manages to complete the missions and gets a new lease on life.
