Nous suivons le quotidien de Fuji Seiki, une détective pleine de talent qui a été rétrogradée en raison de son mauvais comportement avec certains de ces supérieurs. La jeune femme se retrouve affectée à une nouvelle équipière, Kawai Mai, une nouvelle recrue dans les forces de l’ordre qui pensait à démissionner en raison de l’immense charge de travail à laquelle elle devait faire face jusqu’alors.
