Amanda's uncle's friends come to visit, only to be used by Copernicus as part of a plot to fix a cocooning bomb, but he soon ditches them when he discovers Dan's newest package, the Healer Feelers, which can fix any machine.

Dan uses a new package, a physiology scanner, to send a fake medical report on Copernicus to his superiors, and gets him sent back to Planet X, but his replacement is much more competent and quickly takes over Dan's dad's body, so Dan and Amanda travel to Planet X to try and get Copernicus back, while Troll tries to stop the new alien from cocooning the town.
