Shiozaki Haruno est une jeune lycéenne de 17 ans qui aime son scooteur et dont l'unique activité est de parcourir les alentours à son guidon. Elle vit dans les régions montagneuses reculées depuis toujours et aspire à une vie vivante dans une ville. Elle rencontre alors Cynthia B. Rogers, un Australien qui a parcouru de nombreux pays à travers le monde et qui va maintenant travailler à Niwa, un café appartenant à la famille Haruno. Dans ce café, Haruno va faire des rencontres, ce qui va l'encourager à aller de l'avant et réaliser son rêve : partir de son lieu natal.

Épisode 1 - A Breeze on the Café Terrace

Haruno Shiozaki is a girl who lives at a mountainside café and likes to ride on mopeds with her friends. The café soon hires a new waitress in the form of a lively Australian motorcyclist named Cynthia B. Rogers. As Haruno had always been a bit close minded about what she can and can't do, she becomes somewhat jealous of Cynthia's free way of life. As Cynthia starts to influence her friends, Haruno remains defiant about her own limitations. Having been told by Haruno's friends about how she used to be more optimistic, Cynthia decides to take Haruno on a nighttime ride to the beach, where she reminds her to strive and push her limits. As they finally reach the beach, Cynthia assures Haruno that it is okay to rely on others. An advance screening of the first volume was held at the Nanba Park Cinema in Osaka on August 5, 2012 and also aired on AT-X.
