Vers ses 17 ans, Koharu quitte sa maison, à la recherche d'un navire. En effet, un inconnu lui a remis un uniforme et lui a annoncé que lorsqu'elle sera assez grande pour le porter, un vaisseau viendra la chercher car sa "capacité" sera nécessaire à bord. Tout se passe comme prévu et elle monte ainsi à bord du navire. Elle y rencontre là-bas 11 autres passagers, 2 filles et 9 garçons, ayant tous des capacités psychiques. Le groupe lui apprend qu'ils sont en voyage à la demande d'une entité nommée "Le Monde". Cette organisation a pour but de maintenir la paix et de gérer la Terre.
