Les dix participants sur deux voiliers, l'équipe bleue et l'équipe orange, sont confrontés à toutes sortes de problèmes physiques, mentaux et techniques: voiles déchirées, instruments en panne, manque de sommeil, mal de mer et temps orageux. La question décisive est la suivante: quelle équipe atteindra la destination en premier et qui résistera le mieux aux forces de la nature en mer?

Mission Atlantic begins with an early start and intense preparations. Joey quickly realizes how little 11 kg of luggage really amounts to, and the nerves start to rise. Mobile phones are collected, and the skippers stress the importance of health, safety, and fun. While Team Orange manages well, Team Blue struggles with seasickness. The race kicks off, and the challenge of the Atlantic becomes tangible.

Hardly into the open Atlantic does seasickness hit brutally. Marc and Knossi, in particular, reach their limits as Team Orange teeters on the verge of capsizing. During the first night, the jib tears, pills offer little relief, and puke buckets start filling up. While Team Blue patches things up and stabilizes, Team Orange grapples with power issues and sheer exhaustion. The pressing question is: Can they really carry on?

Eine entscheidende Challenge sorgt für neue Motivation. Die Sorge um den Dieselvorrat steigt und das karibische Wetter macht es nicht leichter. Es geht nicht nur um das Rennen, sondern auch um die inneren Kämpfe der Teams.

Die Nacht beginnt ruhig, doch der Ozean bleibt unberechenbar. Ein mächtiger Sturm bricht über die Boote herein. Beide Crews kämpfen sich dem Land näher, tropfnass und erschöpft. Sarkastische Funksprüche sorgen für Lacher. Am Morgen setzen beide Teams alles daran, das letzte Stück zum Ziel zu meistern. Die größte Frage bleibt: Was erwartet sie im Ziel?
