En 1999, Ma Dong Chan est un beau producteur réputé dans le monde du divertissement pour être particulièrement froid dans son travail. Go Mi Ran, elle, est une jeune femme qui croule sous les dettes. Un jour elle découvre l'existence d'une nouvelle émission qui consiste à cryogéniser un homme et une femme pendant 24 heures. Pour 5 millions de wons et la promesse de pouvoir rembourser ses dettes, Mi Ran accepte de participer à l'expérience aux côtés de Dong Chan. Cependant, à leur réveil, Mi Ran et Dong Chan découvrent qu'il ne s'est pas passé 24 heures mais en fait 20 ans et qu'ils se trouvent désormais en 2019. Bientôt ils se rendent compte qu'ils doivent non seulement régler leurs problèmes d'il y a 20 ans mais aussi les problèmes survenus après leur long sommeil réfrigéré, notamment le fait que pour survivre, ils devront dorénavant maintenir leur température corporelle à 31,5°C.
