In 'Mark Loves Sharon', Australian sporting superstar, Mark Wary, reveals all as he invites the cameras into his home to shoot a celebrity reality series that shows the private side of this controversial and very public sporting icon. In an attempt to change his bad-boy image and reveal his sensitive, caring side, Mark and his long-suffering manager, Jerry, decide to open up Mark's life to an observational documentary crew. It may have been a good idea for Ozzy Osbourne, Jessica Simpson, Gene Simmons, Paris Hilton, Hulk Hogan and the Beckhams, but 'Mark Loves Sharon' reveals a whole lot more of Mark than he, or Jerry, ever intended. There's no shortage of tension at Wary's extravagant mansion as Mark's gorgeous but feisty girlfriend, Sharon, tries to keep his wandering eye in check; his loyal, no-hoper mates, Sledge and Tomo, riotously live the life of the loyal celebrity entourage; and manager and nervous wreck, Jerry, tries valiantly to keep the whole Wary gravy train from running off the rails. In the eye of this storm Mark himself is trying to be the man that Sharon wants him to be. Plus trying to maintain a happy home, despite the warring factions and the various temptations and indulgences that are inevitably afforded a sporting superstar of his ilk. He doesn't always succeed and he often finds himself having to front yet another press conference having to apologise for the latest in a long line of misdemeanours. It's not easy being an Australian sporting hero - just ask Wayne Carey or Ben Cousins or Willie Mason or Brendan Fevola or Nick D'Arcy or Lleyton Hewitt or John Steffenson...or even Shane Warne. Mark Loves Sharon allows us to meet the man behind the myth and gives us a remarkable insight into the conflicted, flawed, ridiculous yet ultimately loveable character that makes Wary the national icon that he is.

Figuring "if it's good enough for Ozzy Osbourne, Jessica Simpson, Gene Simmons, Paris Hilton, Hulk Hogan and the Beckhams then it's good enough for me", Wary has taken the plunge and allowed this behind-the-scenes and under-thecovers look at the life he shares with his gorgeous but feisty girlfriend Sharon, his two long term (and live-in) mates Sledge and Tomo and his loyal and long suffering manager Jerry Dabelstein. There's no shortage of tension at Wary's extravagant mansion as Sharon tries to keep Mark's wandering eye in check, Sledge and Tomo riotously live the life of the loyal celebrity entourage, and Jerry tries valiantly to keep the whole Wary gravy train from running off the rails.

Mark and Sharon are preparing to attend a big sports award night when Mark is likely to be challenged for the top prize by up and coming star Robbie Kane. While Sledge and Tomo have their own plans to gatecrash the event, Mark and Sharon have their own issues selecting their outfits and getting to the night of nights unscathed. At the conclusion of the awards the action moves to the after party. All hell breaks loose as the well lubricated Mark finds himself succumbing to the attentions of Robbie's date Brooke. Meanwhile Sledge and Tomo are pre-occupied with their own hired dates. The night can only end in shame for Mark.

It's Marks birthday and with that comes time for new contract negotiations. When things don't go according to plan on that front Mark is forced to evaluate his career, his life and his relationship with Jerry, especially when he suspects that Jerry may be keen to manage Mark's rival Robbie Kane. A bust-up occurs and in the aftermath Sledge and Tomo take Mark back to his old school to try and remind him where he had come from. That has some unexpected results and Mark hits the bottle and takes desperate measures to win back Jerry.
Épisode 6 - The Wedding

Mark is considering life after sport and Jerry, and has become dangerously dependent on Sharon. Mark's on-field form begins to return and to top it off he decides that the time is right to propose to Sharon. An engagement party is planned and the only thing missing from Mark's life is Jerry. Sledge and Tomo prove to be abject failures as managers and Sharon ensures that Jerry is invited to the engagement party. The party kicks in and all the gang are having a great time until an uninvited guest arrives.
