Naples : bastion du crime organisé. Pour de nombreux adolescents, faire de la prison fait partie de leur "métier". Filippo, issu d’une famille aisée, rêve de devenir musicien. Carmine, issu d’une famille de la Camorra, veut devenir un célèbre coiffeur. Tous deux ont commis de graves délits, leurs rêves se sont brisés lorsqu’ils ont été privés de liberté. Bien que la directrice de la prison, Paola, s’efforce de les aider, ces enfants « imparfaits » sont souvent livrés à eux-mêmes. Ce qu’ils ont en commun, c’est une vue magnifique sur la mer et la promesse d’un avenir où leurs rêves pourraient se réaliser...

But life behind bars soon turns out to be full of dangers.

Ciro can't wait to avenge the death of Nazzario Valletta, killed by Carmine, who feels the noose around his neck: everything he wanted to free himself from has become reality, now he is a prisoner with a death threat on his head.

In the feminine, Viola dominates, an icy girl serving a sentence for murder with the aggravating circumstance of cruelty. The girl is charismatic and Ciro himself falls under her magnetic charm. Naditza comes into conflict with her and tries to free other inmates from her "yoke". The director Paola has a new project for the IPM: to have the boys participate in recreational activities together with the girls.

Gemma, a girl from Rimini, habitually suffers violence from her boyfriend, but when her sister becomes a victim herself to defend her, revenge seems to Gemma to be the only way to heal from her sick love. Revenge is also what Filippo contemplates, who is not resigned to the abuses to which Pino subjects him. Now he has a gun and has every intention of using it in his defense. Carmine, on the other hand, was reborn after the news that he will soon become a father. He can't lose hope because he has a reason to fight for. However, the threat of Valletta revenge still hangs over Carmine. In the meantime, the director is informed of the disappearance of the razor blade stolen by Filippo and suspends both permits and recreational activities. This fuels anger among the inmates who think Carmine is responsible. Carmine takes the beating and does not betray his friend Filippo.

Pino gets jealous of Ciro's attentions towards Filippo and this alarms him. Philip takes the bait thrown by Ciro and accepts his protection. Carmine warns him: the friendship that Ciro is offering him is called "belonging to the system": one is indebted for every favor received. Carmine is right and in fact Ciro asks Filippo for proof of courage to obtain his protection. Gemma enters the feminine and Viola begins to circumvent her with her manipulative art. After all, what is better for a victim like Gemma than a ruthless executioner like Viola?
