Deniz is a smart, talented, and dedicated literature teacher. Mehmet Emir is a famous surgeon. Mehmet's son is one of Deniz's students. Both Deniz and Mehmet haven't let anyone into their lives for quite some time. The attraction between them leads them to dinner together, and then subsequently, the series of events that unfold will turn their lives upside down as never would it have occurred to them that an innocent meal will bring about great devastation to both of their families. So, what happened that night? Nobody knows except Deniz and Mehmet Emir. They both describe the night differently. And both of them will embark on a tense, breathless adventure in pursuit of the truth. All they have to do is prove that they are telling the truth. Yes! Every story has two sides. The truth is unique but in this story, it hides from everyone.

Deniz is an intelligent and talented literature teacher working at Saklışehir Private High School. She is divorced, she has not let anyone into her life for a long time. She goes out to dinner with the famous surgeon Mehmet Emir, who works at the same hospital as her sister and is the father of one of her students. In the morning of the night they spent together, they both wake up with different feelings. Mehmet Emir feels something for someone for the first time since his wife died, he is happy. Deniz claims that Mehmet Emir raped her. Both parties are extremely sure of what they are experiencing. But it turns out that someone is lying. So who is the liar in this story? Deniz or Mehmet Emir?

Deniz thinks that Mehmet Emir is giving himself medicine but the police can do nothing without proof and Deniz is unable to prove her claims. Mehmet Emir, on the other hand, wants all the events to end before Doruk gets hurt any further. Mehmet Emir tries to talk to Deniz and persuade her but Deniz does not listen. According to her, Mehmet Emir is a rapist and whatever she will have to do to unmask him, she will. But her efforts backfire and she gets tangled in her feet. The secret she has been hiding from everyone is about to be revealed. Deniz has now entered an irreversible path.

Mehmet Emir did not just find Deniz's earring, he has actually moved one step ahead in this battle. Deniz's chances are not generally moving in the right direction. The man that she thought was in the past suddenly appears before her standing firm and tall. This man is going to change all the balances and take each of the sides who are holding firmly onto their truth, and bring them together once again face to face. As for Doruk, he is pushing with great difficulty for his father to be able to regain his reputation. Actually this battle is a personal battle for each one of them. The winner and the loser is constantly changing. But time is running out for the liar.

After finding an earring; Mehmet Emir leaved the earring in Deniz's home which is clearly an open threat. Even though this scares Deniz she has no intention of giving up. Mehmet Emir is cleared using the evidence of a previous accusation made by Deniz against the school principal. In spite of everyone and everything Deniz starts to track down a clue that she has discovered. On this journey her only obstacle is going to be Mehmet Emir himself. The duel will start one more time; and the actual swords which have been drawn will remain in the shadows.

In the presence of Mehmet Emir Saklışehir Deniz is served with a subpoena, and everyone is now focused on this case. Deniz is forced to make a decision between continuing with the case, or apologizing to Mehmet Emir. The only thing that she has going for her is the shady clues regarding Mine's suicide. But all she has are clues and no hard core evidence. Other that her gut feeling. In order to win Mehmet Emir will not hesitant to hit below the belt. As for Deniz she is not only going to try and protect herself but also protect her loved ones. As the whispers continue, Deniz will find herself right in the middle of a war. This war is between her and all of Saklışehir.

As Deniz continues to try and figure out Mehmet Emir's secret life, whe is not going to be able to prevent her own life from being slowly shred into pieces. The fact that Mehmet Emir knows all of her moves before she even makes them now makes her suspicious that he is either following her or having her followed. Or is it possible that there is someone telling him all of her plans in advance? Will Deniz be able to figure out the liars surrounding her with the clues given to her by Mehmet Emir?

One by one Mehmet Emir completely explained all of his secrets to Deniz. Mehmet Emir is no very stressed. But his obsession with Deniz only pushes him to continue to hunt her down. Will Deniz be able to figure out who his next victim/sacrifice will be? On one hand Murat is sorry about a mistake that he made and he brings Deniz another new clue. Will Deniz be able to form an alliance and work with her ex-husband who had hurt her so much?

As Deniz tries to prevent Mehmet Emir from moving forward, he is able to bypass her as well as Görkem and Murat. He is successful in making it to his appointment with Hilal. Hilal is totally unaware of the huge danger that awaits her. Canan whose anger and hatred for Mehmet Emir is so great, she throws a stone at his house and then runs away. Doruk thinks that it was Deniz who threw the stone. This situation brings Mehmet Emir and Deniz face to face once again. As for Deniz she now is certain that Mehmet Emir now has sacrificed another victim. If this new victim speaks it will become obvious that Mehmet Emin is a liar, and finally she will be able to see him behind bars. Deniz makes her move in trying to learn who his new sacrifice will be, and does whatever she can to convince the woman to talk.

Canan Mehmet Emir’in baskısı ve manipülasyonu sonucu canına kıymıştır. Bulunan intihar mektubu tam okunmasa da Canan’ın; saldırıya uğradığı günden ve Deniz’den bahsetmiş olması hem Deniz’i hem de Mehmet Emir’i harekete geçirir. Deniz Canan’ın kendisine gelir gelmez konuşacağını ve Mehmet Emir’in nihayet yakalanacağını düşünmekte, aynı durumdan korkan Mehmet Emir ise Canan’ı susturmak için bir yol aramaktadır. Bu durum Mehmet Emir ve Deniz’i bir kez daha karşı karşıya getirir. Yaşadıklarından ve çevresindekilerin zarar görmesine engel olamamaktan yorgun düşen Deniz, her şeyden uzaklaşmaya karar verir ancak ona takıntılı bir bağlılık geliştirmiş olan Mehmet Emir, Deniz’in yakınında kalması için her şeyi yapmaya hazırdır. Bu kez hedefinde sadece Deniz değil, Deniz’in sevdikleri ve yakınları da vardır.

Deniz has finally been successful in obtaining hard core evidence against Mehmet Emir. As for Mehmet Emir he has chosen to leave everything behind him and totally disappear. The police are looking everywhere for Mehmet Emir, but he is never caught. After of about 1 month Mehmet Emir's corpse is discovered. Mehmet Emir has been murdered; and even though there are many persons who have reason to commit this murder all arrows point to Deniz. Deniz constantly says that she did not murder Mehmet Emir and that he has actually set a trap for her to be the main suspects, and this way he would have gotten his revenge from her. Everything that happened; happened in the last month. Deniz is the prime suspect. Deniz must now figure out what happened in the past month that now makes her the hunted; in order to prove her innocents'.
