Des recherches spatiales ont permis à l’humanité de découvrir l’Autre-Terre, réplique de notre planète. Alors que l’astronaute John Jameson décolle pour un portail de transport, Peter Parker surprend Venom et Carnage en train de monter à bord de la navette. Pour sauver Jameson, Spider-Man décide de se rendre à son tour sur l’Autre-Terre, équipé d’un nouveau costume conçu par Red Richards. Arrivé à destination, Peter découvre un monde dirigé par un être nommé le Maître de l’Évolution, qui a transformé une partie de la population en hybrides mi-humains mi-animaux. Le reste de l’humanité vit souvent dans la pauvreté. Spider-Man rejoint alors les rebelles humains pour mettre fin au règne du Maître de l’Évolution et stopper les symbiotes, qui ont leurs propres plans.

Épisode 1 - Worlds Apart (1)

After the discovery of Counter-Earth--a very Earth like planet in the same orbit on the opposite side of the sun--John Jameson is sent on the first manned mission to it. But while covering the launch, Peter sees Venom and Carnage enter the shuttle. He tries to stop them, but he fails and ends up taking the blame for the assumed loss of the shuttle and gets a bounty on his head. When a plea for help from a John Jameson on Counter-Earth is received, Peter sees the only way to clear Spider-Man's name as hijacking a new shuttle and go to Counter-Earth himself.
