Lolita è alle prese con il suicidio di una giovane imprenditrice agricola, che tuttavia non la convince. La poliziotta sospetta infatti che si tratti di un omicidio camuffato da suicidio ai danni di una donna troppo intraprendente e progressista. Forte continua a ripeterle che non ci sono prove, ma d'altronde da quando si è trasferito a casa di Lolita i due si confrontano e battibeccano tutto il giorno, proprio come una strana coppia di vecchia data.

Un cadavere senza nome emerge dalle acque di un laghetto di campagna. Lolita e la sua squadra si mettono alla ricerca di indizi che li avvicinino alla soluzione, ma il caso sembra privo di una spiegazione logica. Intanto Esposito prende confidenza col suo ruolo di padre.
