Épisode 1 - Kamaiura: Wrestling

In the first programme, the athletes take on Huka Huka wrestling with the Kamaiura tribe in Brazil. For 51 weeks of the year the women of the Upper Xingu live quiet, monotonous lives, cooking, cleaning and looking after the children. But once a year this all changes, and during the Yamurikuma festival the women of the tribe assume the roles of men for a week.

In the fourth programme, the athletes try their hands at rafting on the open ocean with the Tagbanua tribe in the Philippines. The bad news is that their rafts are made from a few bamboo poles lashed together.

In the fifth programme, the athletes take on the insane sport of water buffalo racing in Sumbawa, Indonesia. They must have nerves of steel as they become balancing jockeys, controlling two bullocks as they gallop towards a target at terrifying speeds.
Épisode 6 - Tarahumara: Mountain Endurance Race

The series culminates in the ultimate trial of pain and endurance - an exhausting, high-altitude, long distance run through the Mexican mountains against the Tarahumara tribe, throwing a homemade hoop for fifteen kilometres.
