VH1 is bringing back and putting a contemporary spin on the classic hit The Partridge Family. VH1 went to Orlando, New York, Minneapolis and Los Angeles looking for people who look like the originals Keith, Laurie, Danny, and Shirley. If they get in they get to fly to Los Angeles and get a whole makeover! Of course also boot camp! Show Plot The originals are coming back! David Cassidy, Danny Bonaduce, and Shirley Jones will coach the finalists on their singing and acting skills throughout the weekly episodes. The best out of the two go head to head, in the ultimate face off! Then you decide. Each show had a number at the bottom of the screen where you could call in. The "family" will then be whisked away to begin rehearsals for a sitcom pilot that will debut on VH1. The pilot is being written by comedic team Bill Oakley and Josh Weins

Épisode 1 - Audition Special

The auditioning for starring as the new Partridge Family begins. Orlando, New York, Minneapolis, and Los Angeles is where they begin looking for the contestants. This show doesn't hold back, they will let us see the auditions, whether they were good or not so good.
Épisode 2 - The Battle of the Keiths
12 septembre 2004
In this first reality episode of the show, the 32 contestants will be observed by the audience. Then, the competing of the Keiths begins. The judges will decide who moves to the next round by their similiarity of the real Keith, and how well their singing & acting is. On the 5th episode, America votes on which two move on to the finals.
Épisode 3 - The Battle of the Lauries

America has chosen the two Keith contestants, they will be declared to us. Then, the competing of the Lauries begins. The judges will decide who moves to the next round by their similiarity of the real Laurie, and how well their singing & acting is. On the 5th episode, America votes on which two move on to the finals.
Épisode 4 - The Battle of The Dannys

America has chosen the two Lauries contestants, they will be declared to us. Then, the competing of the Dannys begins. The judges will decide who moves to the next round by their similiarity of the real Danny, and how well their singing & acting is. On the 5th episode, America votes on which two move on to the finals.
Épisode 5 - The Battle of the Shirleys

America has chosen the two Danny contestants, they will be declared to us. Then, the competing of the Shirleys begins. The judges will decide who moves to the next round by their similiarity of the real Shirley, and how well their singing & acting is. On the 5th episode, America votes on which two move on to the finals.
Épisode 6 - The Battle of the Finalists

The two contestants for each character will vie against each other to get America's votes. Whoever wins for each character, will be the new Keith, Laurie, Shirley and Danny.
Épisode 7 - The Finale
17 octobre 2004
This huge finale episode of ""In Search Of The Partridge Family."" The votes are in, who will be the new Partridge Family. Whoever the winners are, they will carry out their first concert. A sitcom will be filmed along with the new Rueben Kincaid.
