Adaptation animée du manga éponyme de Hiroo Nakamichi. Aya est une lycéenne qui vient tout juste de déménager à Kyoto. C'est son premier jour à l'école et déjà, elle se lie d'amitié avec Miki, une jeune fille timide et réservée qui semble avoir peu d'amis, et Midori, présidente du comité des élèves. Le lendemain, après les cours, toutes les deux suivent Midori dans un magasin de jeux de société. Sans réfléchir, elles testent un jeu qu'elles ne connaissent pas, et c'est le coup de foudre pour elles trois : elles forment alors un club destiné aux passionnés de jeux de société.
