Konohoshi Umika est une lycéenne qui a beaucoup de mal à communiquer avec les autres. Se sentant telle une extraterrestre piégée sur Terre, c’est à l’occasion d’une journée ordinaire qu’elle fait la rencontre de Yuu Akeuchi : une jeune femme qui prétend elle-même venir d’une autre planète, mais qui aurait perdu la mémoire en arrivant sur Terre ! Aux côtés de Haruno Takaragi et Matataki Raimon, deux autres camarades de classe, les nouvelles amies se mettent en tête de construire une fusée pour partir explorer l’univers.
