A married couple faces a crisis involving death. They look back at their past together and recognize the importance of love between them and their family. Nam Hyun-Joo (Han Hye-Jin) married her university senior Kim Do-Young (Yoon Sang-Hyun). They live a happy life as a husband and wife. Kim Do-Young works as an architect and was once thought of as a genius in his field. His refusal to make compromises and stick to his style has caused difficulties with his job. One day, Nam Hyun-Joo asks for a divorce and Kim Do-Young's first love Shin Da-Hye (Yu In-Young) appears.

Épisode 1 - Why Can’t You Fall in Love with Me Again?

Nam Hyun Joo is happily married to construction designer, Kim Do Young, and they also have a daughter together. One day, she receives a call from the hospital, asking her to return the next day. Knowing that her mother suffered from a brain tumor, she becomes nervous. To make matters worse, her husband's ex comes back from the States and asks to meet with her.

There, he meets someone whom he least expected to encounter.

Meanwhile, Da Hye invites Do Young over for dinner and tells him that it is her birthday. Right before they're about to open a bottle of wine, Do Young receives a call from Hong Sook and finds out that Hyun Joo has gone missing. Da Hye urges him to go.

When Seok Joon asks her if she understands why she is getting examined, she tells him that it is for her mother's sake.

Seok Joon is torn between what he wants to do and what he has to do. He meets with Do Young and is surprised at what Do Young tells him. Meanwhile, it's the day of Do Young’s big presentation, and Connie is determined to make him succeed and bring him to New York.

Hyun Joo asks Seok Joon to take her away. Together, they go to the beach. Hyun Joo admits that in these last moments of life, all she wishes is to be with Seok Joon when she takes her last breath. When Do Young sees how dis-tressed Saet Byul is over her mom not coming home, he comforts her. He goes to their home and find the notebook where Hyun Joo used to write in. He's re-minded of the good times they had together.

Connie gets the construction contract from Raymond and hands it over to Do Young. She tells him to drop by his place to tell Hyun Joo about the good news and to see her for the last time. Upon seeing Hyun Joo, Do Young asks if they can start all over. However, she tells him that if they did so, that would mean that he has just used Da Hye.

Hyun Joo tells Do Young that she is going to Bali, and he mentions that that's the place they promised to go together when they grew old. She asks whether he would like to go there with her, but he tells her that he will not sacrifice his contract with JQ just to go to Bali with her. Meanwhile, right when Hyun Joo is about to receive a call from Seok Joon, she feels dizzy and collapses.
