Upon meeting Alonso, Rebeca confirms that love at first sight is possible and decides to take a chance and live her first great love story with him. When she discovers she is pregnant with Alonso's child, Rebeca rushes to find him and tell him the news. However, Silverio tries to stop her and pressures her to terminate her pregnancy. When everything seems to be calming down, an accident changes her destiny and leads to her unjust imprisonment. Rebeca begins the adoption process, convinced it's the best thing to do, but her life is shaken by an unexpected blow: the tragic death of her brother. Desperate to give her daughter a better future, Rebeca begs Mónica to raise her as her own and fill her with the love she cannot give. But, upon regaining her freedom, her only desire is to return to get her.

Mónica confronts Rebeca and makes it clear that, although Rebeca is Aura's biological mother, it was Rebeca who chose to leave, and that the love and upbringing of Aura made her the girl's true mother. Between anger and pride, she states that she will not grant him a divorce and that only she will decide the fate of their marriage. Gascon confronts Camilo's darker side when he is forced to withdraw the complaint against him. Amid threats and pressure, he has no choice but to sign and promise to pay the money he owes. Alonso decides to go to the address where he believes his 18-year-old daughter lives, but he never imagined that upon knocking on the door, he would find Mónica. Surprised, he confesses that he has just discovered he has a daughter and that, according to the information he received, she lives at that same address.

Aura receives a seemingly normal phone call, but a comment from Sara changes everything. Unintentionally, Sara reveals that she knows more than she should, causing Aura to become suspicious and ask uncomfortable questions.
