There is Mu-chul, a man who chased money his whole life to become a building owner. Dae-sik, a tenant in Mu-chul's building, operates a fried chicken store on the first floor. And then there is Gyu-tae, a real estate agency owner who swallowed his pride for his family. Once called the "Cheonha Trio," these three inseparable friends now live their lives entangled with money, each dealing with their circumstances. Out of fate's whirlwind of fraud, bankruptcy, and even medical bills, some get betrayed, while others get struck with luck. They learn through experience that having money doesn't bring you peace or that being broke doesn't bring you misery. The story of these three friends and their families, although still clumsy at life, embarking on a heart-moving journey to reset their lives begins.

Back in high school, Mu-chul, Dae-sik, and Gyu-tae swore eternal friendship as Cheonha Trio. Fast forward 42 years, Mu-chul is a rich but stingy real estate investor who owns multiple buildings while Gyu-tae and Dae-sik run their own businesses in one of Mu-chul's buildings. Dae-sik is in a tight spot financially and doesn't know what to do after being denied a loan.

Dae Sik and Hye Sook are upset that Mu Chul let another fried chicken joint open in the building. While Dae Sik is struggling to figure out how he is going to pay his rent, Mu Chul suddenly announces that he wants to raise the rent and the security deposit by a whopping 100,000 dollars. Meanwhile, the stock Tae Ha owns suddenly starts to drop, and Tae Ha gets a business idea when visiting a crypto-mining facility.
