Cette histoire se passe aux côtés de Machi Amayadori, une Miko et son seul et meilleur ami Natsu Kumai qui est un ours. Vu que Machi vie à la campagne, elle rêve de partir en ville pour aller à l'école. N’étant pas habituée à parler à d'autres êtres humains, Natsu va donc lui enseigner tout ce qu'il faut savoir pour survivre en société.
