Meghan finds herself attracted to a new transfer student named Trent. Problem is that Cam and Trent immediately hate each other and a fight is a possibility. Kenny finds marijuana in one of Mary's old jackets.

Mitch's problems of selling the firehouse restaurant become worse as his father shows up and screws everything by trying to help. Clay suddenly changes as he became closer to his old friends again and faces the possibility of losing his scholarship as he fails in maths. Kenny interviews family members on the subject of display for a homework.

Meghan is selected as the valedictorian, but she doesn't want to give the speech. Mitch is arrested for suspicion of drunk-driving. Kimberly dumps Kenny.

Clay injures himself during a track practice. Meghan has to whether to go to college or not. Kenny asks Taylor out. Mary and Mitch celebrate their 18th anniversary.
