Nacib, the owner of the local bar becomes furious to learn that his cook, Filomena, will leave Ilhéus. The Mayor Ramiro Bastos orders the priest to perform an holy procession to make rain fall in Ilhéus and stop the drought that threatens the local main product: cocoa.
