It’s the most frequently asked question from fans of Forged in Fire—”When will we see bladesmiths compete against our judges?” Now, they are about to get their wish. In each episode, previous Forged in Fire Champions return to the forge for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity—to square off against our renowned Forged in Fire Masters in the highest stakes forging competition yet! The challenges require higher skillsets and there are more tests to pass. First, the smiths must prove they have what it takes to challenge an icon by beating each other in a series of win-or-go-home forging challenges. The remaining two smiths will then compete with one of our seasoned Judges to create a fully functioning blade that will be evaluated and tested. If the challenger can find a way to prevail against our Judge in an intense bladesmithing showdown, they’ll walk away with $10K and eternal bragging rights.

Épisode 1 - Short Sword Damascus

Three champions return to the forge hoping to defeat one of the three judges; after forging signature blades and a Khanda, one champion survives to enter their toughest challenge yet, competing against a judge.
Épisode 2 - Medieval Times

Three champions return with the hope of getting an opportunity to beat a judge. To determine which champion will get to face Ben, Dave, or J, the competitors will have their signature blades tested before recreating a medieval knight's dagger. With only 8 hours on the clock, the remaining Champion will see if they have the skills to recreate an Arming Sword.
Épisode 3 - Dual Swords

Three champions face off against each other, testing their signature blades and re-creating a weapon from the "Forged in Fire" vault until only one champion remains to face off against Ben Abbott, David Baker or J Neilson.
Épisode 4 - Smith's Choice

Three champions return to the forge to compete for the chance to take on one of the judges; in this choose-your-own-adventure style competition, the champions will decide their tests, materials and ultimately the judge they will be competing against.
Épisode 5 - The No Can Can
1 juillet 2020
Three Forged in Fire Champions return for an opportunity to take down a judge; however after a grueling round of testing, only two move forward to recreate a Falcata.
Épisode 6 - Rock Star Smiths
8 juillet 2020
Three champions return to the forge looking to defeat one of the judges; in this musically themed competition, the smiths have to slash through level one to get a chance to rock out a 9-ringed broadsword in their home forges.
