Lopaka, a young boy, is taught by his closest friend, a dolphin called Flipper, how to survive underwater so that they can both explore the secrets of Quezo, a sunken city. A giant octopus called Dexter is the evil ruler of the city. Lopaka and Flipper experience many adventures as they try to avoid running into one of Dexter's strongmen.

It's Nola's birthday, and Lopaka wants to give her a special gift. Bolo also wants to win Nola's affection and buys an expensive necklace for her. Flipper decides to help Lopaka locate a precious pearl deep in the ocean. On the way home, the young boy encounters a poor fish that had his home destroyed by Dexter and his hoodlums. Lopaka must now decide which person will receive the pearl.

An Australian animated take on everyone's favorite dolphin, this episode sees friendly Flipper in the lost underworld of Quetzo battle against a no-good giant octopus. As always, Flipper is helped along the way by his ever faithful group of marine mates, including Lopaka, the Polynesian boy who Flipper once saved from drowning.

A curious Dexter discovers that King Kapuna's powers lie in his crown and whoever wears it can rule Milhouse village. The octopus makes plans to swap the cornet for a fake one and manages to do so. Dexter rule soon becomes short lived after Flipper finds a way to interrupt the octopus' reign.

A single Dexter is now in a race to find the first wife available.

Lopaka makes a shocking discovery! The water around the Iloka Island is rising and he doesn't know why. Kerava predicts a huge flood is coming, and the people in the village begin to pack their belongings. An excited Dexter is happy to see the air-breathers go. Meanwhile, Lopaka and Flipper find a way to protect the villagers from the oncoming flood.

Dexter is bored, and he decides to look for a new group of bad guys. He recruits Spike and his friends, who are playing ball on the beach. The octopus begins to teach the kids how to be rowdy. The teenager's must now decide if they are going to follow Dexter's malicious ways.

Dexter wants to get rid of Lopaka once and for all, seting a trap for the boy to fall into a bottomless pit. Pinball gets word of Dexter's plan, and he rushes to warn Lopaka. The octopus sends his goons to capture Pinball, who outsmarts the fish and hurries to warn his air-breathing friend.

Dexter the Octopus plans to scare everyone living on Milhouse after finding an old, creepy scuba-diving suit. He wants to be king of the island, and the only way to accomplish this is to frighten away Flipper's parents. Lopaka discovers Dexter's scheme and in the processes of exposing him, Flipper, Dexter and Lopaka face an angry shark.
