Getting Physical Dr. Phil Staff "Ted and I have been married just over seven years and have two beautiful children," says Maria. When she and Ted were first married, Maria had a great relationship with her mother-in-law, Catherine, but that changed when their oldest daughter was born. "Catherine likes to disagree with us on almost every aspect of how we choose to raise our children, whether it's what they eat, when they nap, how long they nap for. My mother-in-law definitely feels that I'm not a proper wife and mother," Maria explains. "It's built a lot of tension. I've bit my tongue for a long time." Ted agrees that their relationship with his mother changed once their daughter was born. "Any decisions that involve my daughter, my mother would like to control," he says. Recently, the tension between Maria and Catherine escalated when they had a physical altercation. Maria was home with her daughters after just having had breast augmentation surgery, and Ted was away on business. Catherine came to the house to help Maria out. "Maria was complaining that Ted was having an affair. I walked in the kitchen and she said, 'He's been F-ing his girlfriend all week.' It really startled me, the language that she was using in front of the children," Catherine reveals. Maria says that Catherine started to scream. "She began yelling at me, saying that I didn't deserve Ted, I didn't deserve the children, and that she would do whatever she had to do to take my children from me," Maria explains. "Through the entire altercation, she was holding my 1-year-old daughter." Catherine says that Maria then shoved her and threw her down on the kitchen floor. "I said, 'Maria, what is wrong with you?' She told me that I was a piece of sh*t, I wasn't a good wife, a good person. I pushed her against the wall," she says. "She reached and dug her nails into my arm, puncturing my arm pretty severely. Youthful Daredevil Mike, 23, says he loves performing extreme stunts, and his dangerous activities have been viewed by millions online. Although his stunts, like doing a backflip off a vending machine, have landed him in the hospital, the young man says he wants to continue his risky lifestyle until he’s 35. Adrenaline Rush Seth, 18, also videotapes his stunts and uploads them to the Internet. One trick went so badly, he landed in the ICU. His mom, Tammy, says that he continues to perform the dangerous feats. Will a warning message from E. R. physician Dr. Travis Stork make Seth think twice? Harmless Website? Dalton Hayes, 18, and his 13-year-old girlfriend have been dubbed a “modern day Bonnie and Clyde” by some in the media after the young couple left Kentucky and reportedly evaded police during an alleged two-week, multistate crime spree involving stolen cars, destroyed property and forged checks. In a daytime television exclusive, Dr. Phil talks to Dalton, who is currently behind bars, having pled not guilty to multiple charges. Plus, don’t miss a shocking update on Dalton and his girlfriend. Teens on the Run Dalton Hayes, 18, and his 13-year-old girlfriend made headlines in January when they allegedly embarked on a dangerous, interstate crime spree, reportedly leaving a trail of chaos in their wake. When the pair left their small, western Kentucky hometown, Dalton was set to appear in court on prior burglary and theft charges — though he denies that is why they left. Over the next two weeks, authorities allege the young couple forged checks and stole three vehicles — one reportedly with firearms inside — while evading police across the South. They eventually were apprehended by law enforcement in the early morning hours of Jan.18 in Panama City Beach, Florida, as they slept inside a pickup truck. Dalton maintains he was only trying to protect his girlfriend, who he says told him she was being abused at home — an allegation her family absolutely and completely denies. He also claims he did not know his girlfriend was only 13 during most of their relationship. Dalton has pleaded not guilty to a string of charges, including burglary and second-degree rape.
