Épisode 1 - Boda millonaria

Doménica meets Max Langer and is immediately charmed by his generosity and charisma. Meanwhile, Luis Fernando is enjoying the company of his partner, Paula, with whom he is celebrating their upcoming pregnancy. During a horseback ride, Doménica sees her horse become agitated and put her safety at risk. Just in time, Max Langer intervenes to rescue her. After a few months of dating, Max is ready to make their relationship official and take the next step: proposing to Doménica. However, it's all part of a plan orchestrated by him and Kiara, Doménica's cousin. Their goal is to ruin her and take all her money, feigning love and commitment before running away together. After weeks of preparing the wedding details, Max arrives with disturbing news for Doménica: he no longer wants to continue with the marriage and is determined to end it.

Épisode 2 - Corazones rotos

Kiara is determined to ruin her cousin Doménica's life. She asks Max to abandon her at the altar so everyone will laugh at her, revealing the deep hatred and resentment she harbors. Max and Kiara meet at the airport to run away after Max abandons Doménica at the altar. However, realizing the damage he's causing, Max changes his mind and discovers the kind of person Kiara really is. Doménica discovers that Max Langer not only abandoned her at the altar but also ran off with the large sum of money she lent him to "get out of bankruptcy," leaving her heartbroken by his betrayal. After the devastating disappointment of being abandoned on her wedding day, Doménica decides to flee Puebla to take over the family farm, feeling that the people around her didn't give her the support she believes she deserves as friends.

Épisode 3 - La antigua hacienda

Upon arriving at the Joya ranch, Doménica presents herself as a harsh and cold woman, revealing her disdain for those who try to take advantage of her kindness. This clearly demonstrates her fierce nature. Luis Fernando returns to the family ranch to get it up and running and sell it. However, he soon discovers that it will not be a simple process, especially upon realizing that the neighboring ranch, Joya, is his rival for the land. Genaro Peña is disturbed by Doménica's arrival, fearing that she will ruin the shady dealings he has been conducting thanks to the Joya ranch. Doménica meets Luis Fernando for the first time in an encounter where both air their grievances, each claiming to be encroaching on the other's land. Doménica is unwilling to talk to him, as she feels he is just another person trying to exploit her kindness.

Épisode 4 - Promesas disfrazadas

Luis Fernando confronts Genaro about his reputation for being "abusive," which infuriates him, and he ends up responding with a punch. Genaro looks for a way to get rid of Bartolo, so he makes Doménica believe he is a bad worker, leading her to decide to evict him from her land. Doménica, in her attempt to learn how to shoot, fails, causing a misunderstanding, and Luis Fernando intervenes to help her. Luis Fernando and Doménica have a heated confrontation, as he thinks she is burning Bartolo's family's belongings, but in reality, she was stopping Genaro.

Épisode 5 - Amenaza o advertencia

Mercedes se distrai com um segredo do passado e cai na areia movediça. Ela imediatamente pede ajuda e Pedro, que por acaso passa por ali, a ajuda, sem saber que o destino os está unindo. O carro de Kiara fica atolado a caminho da fazenda e, por sorte, ela encontra Genaro, que se gaba de ser dono de uma fazenda chamado "La Joya". Kiara descobre a mentira: a fazenda pertence a sua prima. Após os desentendimentos que Doménica teve com a família de Bartolo, ela decide repor os objetos queimados no incêndio causado por Genaro, mas Bartolo fica na defensiva e Doménica se irrita. Após a acalorada discussão, Luis Fernando fica intrigado com o comportamento de Doménica e decide investigar um pouco sobre ela na internet, deparando-se com uma terrível verdade.

Épisode 6 - El escándalo de Doménica

Doménica begins to doubt Genaro and orders him to hand over the farm's accounts since his arrival. Genaro is in shock because he knows he has done wrong. Kiara overhears Genaro saying he wants to get rid of Doménica, so she interrupts him and proposes an alliance. Doménica arrives at the "Espejo de Luna" farm to reconcile with Luis Fernando, but during their conversation, he innocently mentions Max Langer, and she explodes in anger, slapping him. Silvia and Kiara decide to sell Doménica's engagement ring, but everything goes wrong when Silvia starts playing with the ring in the car. Kiara gets distracted and accidentally runs over a pregnant woman, unaware that she is Luis Fernando's sister-in-law.

Épisode 7 - Prioridades

After Sofia's accident, Luis Fernando immediately takes her to the hospital upon realizing that the baby she is expecting is in serious danger. Sofia is devastated by the loss of her baby, as she knew it was Luis Fernando's last chance to have the child he always wanted with his wife, Paula. Luis Fernando finds a ring in Sofia's bag and suspects it belongs to the person responsible for the accident that injured her. From that moment on, he will not rest until he finds the culprit. Doménica goes to Luis Fernando's farm to resolve their conflicts and proposes buying his land as a solution.

Épisode 8 - Veneno y envidia

Luis Fernando is angered by Doménica's suggestion to buy his land, feeling it as an insult. Mercedes questions Prudencio to find out if he knows anything about the whereabouts of the son her husband had with another woman, because, after so many years, she wants to be sure the baby is alright. Kiara's new plan begins to unfold: she intends to use a venomous spider to put Doménica's life in danger. Luis Fernando immediately takes Doménica to the hospital upon realizing that her life is in danger due to the spider bite she suffered.

Épisode 9 - Dictamen médico

After being rescued by Luis Fernando, Doménica Montero argues with him upon discovering that he had only gone to her ranch to provoke her and argue about the land. Meanwhile, Pedro, trying to protect Nieves, confronts Osvaldo, leaving him injured. After the brutal beating Osvaldo suffered at Pedro's hands, Gabriel, his father, uses his influence to have Pedro arrested on false charges. Doménica seeks Luis Fernando's help as a doctor, hoping to obtain a fairer verdict in Pedro's case, as she believes he was unjustly imprisoned. Doménica is grateful for Luis Fernando's intervention in securing Pedro's release, but he doesn't hide his anger upon realizing that the law wasn't properly applied, since she altered it in her favor.

Épisode 10 - Enemigos

Tired of the internal squabbles and the way things are run at the Abandoned ranch, Luis Fernando decides to take up arms to prove he's on the same level as them. Upon learning of Pedro's precarious working conditions at Abandoned, Luis Fernando offers him a job on his own ranch. He reaffirms his authority over Genaro by forbidding him from entering his land. Genaro sees this as an opportunity to start a dispute with him. Doménica gets involved after discovering how Luis Fernando is handling the territorial conflicts, having been misled by Genaro's exaggerated accusations, which cloud her judgment with falsehoods.

Épisode 11 - La abandonada

Genaro decides to leave Doménica's farm, feeling he has lost her trust due to the things Luis Fernando told her. Doménica refuses to be intimidated by Luis Fernando's threats and forbids him from entering her land, turning the conflict into a personal challenge. Pedro is happy to learn he will be the new partner at the Espelho da Lua farm, having received Luis Fernando's blessing to join forces with him. Doménica seeks a moment of peace by the lake, but encounters Luis Fernando by chance. A tense meeting leads to a heated argument, until the tension between them becomes undeniable, culminating in a passionate kiss.

Épisode 12 - Un nuevo amor

Doménica is delighted by the kiss she shared with Luis Fernando, but quickly makes it clear that this will never happen again. However, she has difficulty maintaining this decision when Luis Fernando steals a second kiss from her. Blinded by jealousy at seeing Kiara with Luis Fernando, Doménica confronts him and accuses him of being opportunistic for involving Pedro as his partner on the farm. Kiara confesses to Doménica that she is attracted to Luis Fernando, whom she considers interesting and attractive. However, Doménica does not react well to the confession. Doménica receives the documents that define the boundaries of her land and Luis Fernando's. Seeing this as an opportunity, she decides to confront him and tell him that he no longer has the right to pass through her land.
