A spaceship crash lands in the heart of London during the height of the Blitz, the military believe that they have captured a new Nazi ship and that its occupants are dead. The Eighth Doctor picks up a distress signal from the ship and investigates. Upon materialising he enters a near by bar and questions the bar maid, Kathy Bradford, who rveals that the ship had been taken away and the guard had been killed. Soon more visutors land on Earth in highly advanced technology, fully sustainable membranes. The Doctor, with the aid of Kathy and the Colonel, soon realises that the ship is a time experiment of an old enemy...

The Doctor is now aware of the presence of a more advanced group of Cybermen, who have used their developed Time Distortion technology to follow the distress signal of their early Mondasian experiment. The Cyber Leader soon explains that their discovery will be most fruitful as a war torn planet clinging for it's survival will surely welcome the promise of salvation the Cybermen have to offer...

The Cybermen have the Doctor and Kathy within their control ready to release the hiberntion pods across the planet and begin a full-scale invasion of Earth. However, the Doctor has sabotaged the Cybermen's Time Distortion engines and they cannot continue until it is repaired. The Doctor, agrees but tricks the Cybermen by knocking out power throughout the ship. In the confusion Kathy slips away and reunites with the Doctor. Will the Doctor be able to return the Cybermen to the ship and lock them in a Time Loop or will the Doctor and his new friend be caught within...
