Au début du XXe siècle, cinq lycéens insouciants passent leurs journées à flâner entre leur dortoir et leur club scolaire. Leur quotidien bascule le jour où, en pleine séance de bain matinal, ils découvrent une étrange créature dans l’eau : un chat sauvage qui parle et dit venir du futur. Sa mission ? Les prévenir qu’une grande menace pèse sur la planète. Mais pas question pour lui de sauver le monde : ce sera à eux de décider s’ils veulent prendre les choses en main ! Séduits à l’idée de devenir des héros stylés, les cinq garçons acceptent. Grâce à une mystérieuse technologie, les voilà transformés en justiciers aussi flamboyants qu’élégants, prêts à défendre la Terre… à leur façon. Mais dans l’ombre, un groupe aux intentions bien plus sombres se prépare à prendre le contrôle du monde…

(vague) Anyway, the new defense department - Unzen Shinkuro, Sukayu Narushi, Unohana Sousuke, Oshamanbe Ushio and Aso Akuta.

With the help of the feline science of the mysterious future cat Nuru, the five members of the Defense Club have become the "Hi-CARA Romantic Squad" and successfully defeated the monsters plotting to take over the Earth. Then, before them appears the "Ban-CARA Avant Guard Corps", an Earth Conquest Club led by the mysterious prairie dog Master Kyan. Their true identities are none other than Doumeki Straight, Nyutou Samon and Nekoma Tasuku, roommates at the Kurotama Dorm and members of the Binan High School Student Council. With lies and enemies under the same roof, it's impossible for something not to happen... right?
